Collection consists of audio and video recordings of Modern art in Los Angeles: Beat film, held on 30 - 31 October and 8 November 2003 at the Getty Center. Filmmakers Kenneth Anger, Curtis Harrington, and Larry Jordan present and discuss a selection of their films that capture the spirit of the west coast Beat movement. Included are individual interviews with Larry Jordan (30 October 2003), Curtis Harrington (8 November 2003), and Kenneth Anger (8 November 2003), group interviews (31 October 2002 and 8 November 2003), and a public film screening and panel discussion (30 November 2003). Interviewers include Michael Friend, Kristine McKenna, and Rani Singh.
